Write Your Way to Make an Impact
I feel that writing is more powerful than verbal communication. It should never be taken for granted. There is a lot in the world to be addressed that we do not talk about.
Once a thought came into my mind that writing might be outdated in the coming years because, in this digital era, people are more relying on visual things like watching Netflix, etc.
I was caught by this thought because I feel that in the old days there were limited sources of entertainment and people relied on newspapers, reading books, and spending time in libraries. This era has lots of opportunities; who will bother reading? If people are not reading, writers will gradually stop writing.
Later, I thought that writing turned digital too. Writing is still popular, and people who tasted reading once can never replace it with anything else. Thousands of people prefer reading over watching videos.
One aspect of this digital era is disturbing. Instead of putting quality to what readers read, people are just polishing their businesses. Thousands of bloggers don’t care about human readers; they write for Google search engines because they have to generate revenue.
Writing has a lot of technical forms. Sometimes, I feel like we are writing for robots, and online readers are becoming robots as well.
Misleading information can transform the mind accordingly. Writing is a powerful tool, and it definitely makes an impact.
We can speak out on important matters about which we do not talk verbally.
We can share our vision with the world.
We can educate the world.
We can change the minds.
Sometimes, I feel that writing is more powerful than verbal communication. It should never be taken for granted. There is a lot in the world to be addressed that we do not talk about. I wrote down many projects as a ghostwriter. Now, I am thinking of writing a book under my belt on some important subjects that are very close to my heart. I am not revealing the topic yet. I will definitely share at the right time.
What did you say about it? Do you think writing should merely be a source of income for online writers, or should it be for robots? Do you think every piece of writing that comes out should really make a difference? How do you seek writing?
